Alright, in my post, the walls of the place are thin, so maybe we could stick to that? THat way they can hear through the walls, maybe even talk to other members of the Flock without realizing it yet.
Also, their delusions would take them up to the third book, that would be what they'd remember, nothing after that.

Tie me down to this worldd. <3 Aw, I can see like, Angel or Nudge tapping on the walls. And chatting with whoever. We could have Nudge and Iggy meet like thattt. (Oh man, I just thought of something. What if he wasn't blind yet? And like, they do something and it makes him blind. Cause then he can freak out and such, and I'll have fun writing that.
Only, what would make him blind... We checked out shock treatments and meds. Hmm. Well, they actually do have flock DNA right? Or don't they? Cause maybe the meds could screw with the bird dna or Ig could get the avian flu or something. (LOL kiddinggg.)
But yeah. Fun!

Dude, that would be awesome with the not blind thing. And yeah, I'm figuring that they do have the avian DNA, but somehow, the wings are missing. We'll figure it out as we go along, I'm sure. But Nudge and Iggy definitly could meet that way.
We need to figure out the alignment of the rooms... soo....
I put Angel next to Peter already, so maybe Nudge could be on the other side of Angel, then James could be next to Nudge.
Then, maybe, Nick next to Peter and Max after that?
So...
James-Monique-Angel-Peter-Nick-Max

Also, I'm guessing that they won't know the other flock members real names, except for knowing James (maybe they won't exatly realize it, because they met his parents but might not connect it right away), and Monique, and only Angel would know Peter's name.
And with Iggy, he could remember being blind as part of the Flock?

But Nudge and Iggy definitely could meet that way. Okay, so...oh, that's interesting with the no wings. I just got another bit of inspiration for Max's post from that, sweet. And yay! That'll be cute. (: We need to figure out the alignment of the rooms... soo.... I put Angel next to Peter already, so maybe Nudge could be on the other side of Angel, then James could be next to Nudge. Then, maybe, Nick next to Peter and Max after that? So... James-Monique-Angel-Peter-Nick-Max That was confusing at first. Hang on, I'm gonna scratch that out on paint and see how it looks...
And as for the names thing: wouldn't they know Max? And everyone else used those names before. But then, they can just play it off as a coincidence or something. Like, they aren't familiar with anyone's last names except Ig's right? So they'll just get confused or something. I DON'T KNOW.
But yeah, Ig is definitely going to be remembering being blind. But then, this is just getting confusing, because if all of this actually happened...Ig would still be blind. And they would have wings. Arg, plot holes! So, maybe it's something like...they all have the delusions/dreams of being with the flock, so it's in their memory, but...it's not them? Maybe they're reincarnated versions or something? And then, I mean, we can have the story sort of play out like the books, with them all being locked up together, and then Ig going blind, perhaps them busting out...
I guess we'll figure it out as we go along?

Yeah, I hope we'll figure it out. Gah, plotholes. We have some options... I shall state random stupid ones that came to my mind, yes? Yes. Even if they are random and stupid and make no sense.
- Perhaps they were seeing an altered version of the future, of what was to come. Perhaps they were seeing themselves, somehow... yeah, I don't know.
- Your theory thing, which is awesome.
-...no clue.

sadie: No, they're the flock all right, we just...we're not entirely sure. We were thinking that they were ...I dunno, really. We were planning to wing it, really. (Hah, wing it) since we just had a vague idea. But Max, Nick, James, Monique, Peter and Angel are definitely the same kids from the book, minus the wings in this one, though they have all their memories from their adventures in the first three books.
We don't really know yet what's really going on. Are they just delusional? Are they really winged children who were experimented on and on the run for their lives, and then the white coats kidnapped them, removed their wings and told them it was all a lie? Are they the flock, reincarnated, and are having flashes of their past lives? We don't really know.
That's not very helpful, I know. D: But that's the best we've got so far. So we're just going to play it by ...year? ear? and see what happens, I guess.
For now, what you really need to know is:
* The flock are and have been institutionalized in various psych wards for the majority of their lives. * They have all their memories of the flock, and all their adventures up until the third novel. * meaning: no wings, but they remember having them. * Everybody thinks they're delusional * They know they're not. (Or, at least, they think they know. since we don't even know. But just go with it.) * They don't know they've all been moved into the same asylum. They're going to slowly meet with the other members, probably by talking to them through the walls. but they won't realize right away who they're talking to, I don't think. We'll get there.
I guess that's it. We'll figure it out as we go.
